Flatwalk is a browser tool that turns a floor plan into a 3D flat you can walk through and furnish. This page explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are. We keep it short and plain.

Who is responsible

What we collect

Your floor plans and flats. When you save or build a flat, the plan and the 3D result are stored so you can come back to them. Guest flats are tied to an anonymous ID in your browser and are deleted after a short time.
Your email address, only if you choose to create an account or ask to be notified when a build is ready.
Technical data needed to run the service: IP address, browser type and error logs, held by our hosting provider (Google Firebase, EU and US data centres).
Analytics and advertising cookies, only if you click Accept on the cookie notice. We then use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to see which pages and ads work. If you click No thanks, nothing loads.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data.
We do not send marketing email unless you asked for it.
We do not store payment details; there is nothing to pay for in the free tier.

Shop links

Furniture, paint and finishes shown in your flat link to the shops that sell them. When you follow a link you leave Flatwalk and the shop's own privacy policy applies. Some links may be sponsored or affiliate links; these are labelled.

Where data is stored and for how long

Data is stored on Google Cloud (Firebase) infrastructure. Account data is kept while your account exists. Guest flats are deleted automatically. Analytics data follows the retention settings of Google Analytics and Meta, typically 2 to 14 months.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you can ask us to show, correct, export or delete your data, and you can withdraw cookie consent at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site. Email us and we will act within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority (in Lithuania the State Data Protection Inspectorate, in the UK the ICO).

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, where we have your email, tell you.
